Performance Management and Employee Retention in Commercial Banks in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria

In this study, the influence of performance management on employee retention in commercial banks Akwa Ibom State was studied. The survey research design considered and adopted study. study had a population 497. sample size 384 as determined through Cochran’s determination formula. sampling method employed random sampling. questionnaire used data collection. Data obtained were analyzed using simple regression method. It established that (Beta =0.046, t=4.182, p<0.05) has significant State. concluded could account for recommended state should strengthen their practice capacity to retention.
